Free legal clinic offered 2nd Saturday of month at Snyder Rec Center in LA

Brought to our attention by advocacy groups with the DropLWOP coalition, including Love Streets CA, community defenders are providing a free legal clinic this Saturday, November 12 from 10a-1p, and the second Saturday of each month going forward. Topics available to be addressed include participatory defense strategies for juvenile and criminal court, resentencing and parole board hearings, commutations and crimmigration.


From 10a-11a, one-on-one consultations are available for current criminal and juvenile justice court cases or post-conviction. From 11a-12n, topics addressed include commutations and parole hearing preparation, and from 12n-1p, discussion turns to hearing from people who have brought people back home to their families and communities.
