ChatGPT - Abolishing/Curtailing Felony Murder Doctrine is Beneficial
The chatbot taking over the world has an opinion about the unjust doctrine

I went to check out ChatGPT, the chatbot taking over the world. After asking several random questions about my cat and what to do about my 401k, I conversed with the conversational AI chatbot about the serious topic we discuss on this blog on a regular basis, the felony murder doctrine.
Conversation is above. Overall; ChatGPT believes that abolishing or curtaliing the felony murder doctrine is beneficial because 1. it punishes people for crimes they did not commit, 2. can lead to unjust convictions, especially in cases where the evidence is clear, and 3. people convicted of murder would only face the harsh LWOP penalties if they actually intended to kill someone or directly caused a death.
Note: algorithms are funny things and bias, even in datasets, are certainly something to note and be aware of. Nonetheless, I found it insightful that, in a text-based language dataset that does not process emotion, it reached the same conclusion about the unfairness that we and fellow advocates believe of the felony murder doctrine.
