Today is Felony Murder Elimination Project's First Giving Tuesday

Dear friends and fellow advocates!

We know that the holidays can be a tough time for those of us whose loved ones are behind prison walls. We hope that you were able to sit across the table from your loved ones both inside and out this past week. Know that we are with you, in those moments of joy, grief, and hope.

Today is Giving Tuesday, and for Felony Murder Elimination Project its our first since registering as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in December 2021. We ask that you support us as we advocate for your family members inside, each and every day. Please considering donating today to support our work.

You can help us do what we cannot do on our own.

Funds raised this holiday season will go directly toward:

  • Securing major wins in the California legislature in 2023.
  • Expanding our work to other states to abolish the felony murder rule and curb extreme prison sentences.
  • Ensuring that families have accurate information regarding procedures involving the felony murder rule, changes in laws, and potential reforms.

We are so deeply grateful to all of you who have contributed in any way to our movement, through prior donations, advocacy, and spreading the word of our cause through social media. While the specific SB300 bill may be inactive, our commitment and purpose remains resolute as this movement grows and expands it's reach.

Together, we will forge a pathway of opportunity for all of our loved ones to come home.

Love,
Felony Murder Elimination Project
