National Christian Prayer Call to End the Death Penalty
Event in concert with World Day Against the Death Penalty on October 10th

Join the EJUSA-Evangelical Network on World Day Against the Death Penalty on Tuesday, October 10th for a gathering of Christians from across the country to spend time praying about the state and federal death penalty in our country. Together we will lament, find hope, and equip ourselves to prayerfully move toward being a nation where we break cycles of violence. This will be a space of power, peace, and prayer, one where we'll also partner with many companion in-person prayer events across our nation. The prayer call event is scheduled for 330pm-430pm Pacific Time.
Observed on October 10th of every year, the World Day Against the Death Penalty unifies the global abolitionist movement and mobilizes civil society, political and faith leaders, lawyers, public opinion and more to support the call for universal abolition of capital punishment. The day encourages and consolidates the political and general awareness of the world-wide movement against the death penalty.
