SB 300 set for hearing in California State Assembly Committee on Appropriations on Wednesday, August 3rd at 9am

On Wednesday August 3rd at 9am, the California State Assembly Committee on Appropriations will hear the bill, and the time to call your California State Assemblyperson is NOW! You can find your district legislator HERE, and urge them to vote YES on SB 300.

In New Hampshire, there is a strict three-year deadline to file a motion for a new trial, regardless when new exonerating evidence is discovered. Senate Bill 141 would create room for exceptions and allow the wrongfully convicted to file a motion after three years if there is newly discovered evidence.
