Win in Public Safety!
It was a 6 to 1 win for Senate Bill 1437 (Skinner) Accomplice liability for felony murder in Senate Public Safety Committee on Tuesday! The turnout of organizations and individuals to support this first vote was awesome - over 60 individuals were in attendance! 38 legislative office visits were made with Senators and their staff to inform them on the need for reform through teams including law enforcement, impacted families, lawyers, survivors of crime, formerly incarcerated individuals, teachers, and faith leaders.
