ACTION ALERT - Submit Your Public Comment Supporting AB 958 TODAY
AB 958 is being heard TODAY in the CA Senate Public Safety Committee

AB 958 (Miguel Santiago-D54) is being heard today in the California Senate Public Safety Committee. This bill will strengthen visiting opportunities and connections between people incarcerated in California's state prisons and their families and children to support their emotional health, improve in-custody conduct, and reduce recidivism.
Here is our AB 958 toolkit to guide you in ways to support the bill today and moving AB 958 forward through the California Senate.
A. You can submit public testimony by calling in to the committee:
Number: 877-226-8163, access code 1618051
Sample script: "Hi, my name is ________, with (your organization if any OR you can say system or directly impacted), in strong support of AB 958, The Family Unity Bill."
Note: You should press 1-0 when prompted by the moderator. When you press 1-0 on your phone, you will wait and an operator will assign you a line number. At that time, you will be placed in the queue for identification. Remember your line number; the moderator will call out that number to identify you when it is your turn to testify.
B. You can sign on to the "Me Too" list.
We will read your organization name aloud in the hearing ---> bit.ly/AB958MeToo
